Setting up the InsideProxy browser extension

The browser extension is the fastest way to use InsideProxy for anything manual — QA testing, checking how a page renders in another country, or just browsing through a specific location without configuring your OS or browser proxy settings by hand.

Installing

Install the extension from your browser's extension store, then click the InsideProxy icon in your toolbar. On first launch, you'll be asked to sign in with your account credentials — this links the extension to your balance and generated endpoints automatically.

Switching locations

Once signed in, the extension shows a country picker with real flags and live latency for each. Pick a country and the extension immediately reroutes all browser traffic through a matching IP — no page reload, no manual host/port entry.

Session type from the toolbar

A small toggle in the extension lets you switch between rotating and sticky sessions on the fly, which is handy when you're moving between "browse casually" and "stay logged into one account" within the same session.

Troubleshooting

If pages stop loading after switching locations, toggle the extension off and back on to force a fresh connection, and confirm your balance hasn't run out under Add balance.
