Upgrading or downgrading your plan

1 min read Updated Jul 10, 2026

Because billing is balance-based rather than a fixed subscription, changing plans is less about "switching tiers" and more about matching how much bandwidth or how many IPs you're buying at a time to your actual usage.

Changing your plan

From Billing, use Manage subscription to move to a different plan tier. Changes apply immediately, and any unused balance carries over — you're never charged twice for the same usage.

No lock-in

There's no contract and no cancellation fee. If you stop using your balance, it simply sits there until you're ready to use it again — nothing expires automatically.

When to upgrade

A good signal that it's time to move to a higher tier is consistently running your balance to zero before your usual top-up cadence — check Usage for your daily average and trend to see whether your consumption is genuinely growing or just had a one-off spike.
